Wayfinders Scouting Club

Wayfinders is a scouting experience where outdoor skill, citizenship, and character are cultivated with living ideas, meaningful work, and attentive observation. Wayfinders engage in a feast of experiences.

Outdoor Skills

Students learn a wide variety of habits and outdoor skills in living ways - hiking real trails, building real fires, solving real problems. Skill is not merely practiced; it is lived. This will be an environment where skills, virtue, and wonder grow side by side. As students learn skills, they will be given the opportunity to earn tassels through demonstrated competence, personal initiative, and thoughtful reflection.

Character

Character is not awarded; it is grown over time. Wayfinders take on real responsibilities, practice service in their communities, and develop habits of reliability, courage, and courtesy. Leadership emerges organically through shared work.

Citizenship

Wayfinders are active participants in their communities. Through service projects, civic learning, and group decision-making, they come to understand their place within a larger whole—and their responsibility to it.
